Science Technician (Permanent Part Time)

Applications close: 16 hours from now - 22/11/2024.

With one of our three science technicians retiring, we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our wonderful team at Westlake Boys High School as a “General Science Technician” to start in Term One 2025.  This is a permanent part-time position (20 hours per week) to support the equipment and resource needs of our Science Faculty. Experience working with chemicals an advantage.

Science technicians fall under the Support Staff in Schools Collective: https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/support-staff-in-schools-collective-agreement

The successful applicant would have a generous hand-over period which includes working alongside all three of our current technicians for 5 weeks at the beginning of Term 1 2025.

Please send covering letter, CV and application form to Tracy Houzet Human Resources Director [email protected]

 Closing Date: 3pm Friday 22nd November 2024
